Mr. Beemer is a celebrated trial lawyer of more than 50 years. A partner of Beemer and Beemer, LLC, in Clarks Green, PA, since 2010, he practiced law alongside his son, a former district attorney for the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office in Pittsburgh who took a leave of absence to serve as Attorney General of Pennsylvania (March 2016-2017) and is presently Inspector General of Pennsylvania. The firm was originally established in 1984 with Mr. Beemer's late wife, Diane, with whom he practiced for 15 years before her passing.

During his career, Mr. Beemer has handled some significant environmental and mass tort cases, which have received national acclaim. He has also built a solid reputation for serving as an advocate on behalf of victims exposed to environmental contamination. In recent years, Mr. Beemer attained a $11.5 million settlement for hundreds of people living in the Abington area who were victims of contamination from tenants of The Ivy Industrial Park in 2011. He also notably won the first decision in Pennsylvania against a fracking company for contaminating a water supply as a result of the fracking process in 2014 and a $13.5 million settlement on behalf of several hundred individuals and businesses for damages from vapor intrusion in 2015.

Mr. Beemer originally clerked for the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. In 1968, he joined Warren, Hill, Henkelman & McMenamin in Scranton, PA, a firm that had extensive trial practice and defended insurance companies, railroads and corporations. In 1972, Mr. Beemer became a founding partner at Beemer, Brier, Rinaldi & Fendrick, representing the injured and accused. Five years later, he became the president of Beemer, Rinaldi, Fendrick & Mellody, P.C., where he remained until 1983. Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Beemer often lectured lawyers on evidence and environmental law topics and was an adjunct professor at the University of Scranton.

Holding several esteemed positions within his community, Mr. Beemer chaired the committee that drafted the Constitution and Bylaws of the Lackawanna United Fund and the professional division of the American Cancer Society Drive in Lackawanna County. He was also active as a national chairman for the University of Scranton Alumni Fund Drive. He also coached the Abington Little League and both officiated and coached the Abington Basketball League in his free time.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Mr. Beemer graduated from Saint Paul's High School, where he first explored his talents as a member of the debate team. He also discovered his talent for writing at the aforementioned school, where he was the recipient of the Voice of Democracy Broadcast Script Writing Competition. While still in high school, he received a college scholarship for winning the Knights of Columbus Essay Contest.

Attending the University of Scranton upon graduation, Mr. Beemer acquired a bachelor's degree in 1963 followed by an Bachelor of Laws in 1966 at the George Washington University. He has been admitted to practice by the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also became a certified civil trial advocate through the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Beemer served on the board of directors and as the chairman of the civil rules committee for the Lackawanna Bar Association. He remains a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Beemer has been featured in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
