Inspired to assist military veterans after her own daughter entered the U.S. armed forces, Ms. Strasser has excelled with Blue Star Mothers of Northern New Jersey NJ6, a nonprofit military organization, as the president since 2017. Additionally, she has found success as a job coach with Jefferson Township Public Schools. Prior to her position with Blue Star Mothers, Ms. Strasser served as a special education paraprofessional for Jefferson Township from 2007 to 2018.
Dedicated to her community, Ms. Strasser volunteers with Veterans Memorial Services as well as the Junior Women's Club of Jefferson Township during her spare time.
Before embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Strasser trained as a dental assistant at the Berden Institute in 1997. Subsequently, she graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in sociology in 2016. Looking toward the future, Ms. Strasser intends to continue on her current path because she loves what she does while witnessing Blue Star Mothers grow as an organization.
