As a respected member of the aviation industry, Mr. Farrow has recently accepted a position as a Flight System Analyst at Foreflight LLC., located in Houston, Texas. Foreflight LLC, a Boeing Company, is the leading aviation application for Pilots. Prior to joining Foreflight, Mr. Farrow was employed as a Senior International Flight Planning Specialist at Universal Weather & Aviation, Inc., since 1998. Mr. Farrow has always been fascinated with aviation from an early age, which propelled his desire to work in the aviation industry.
Mr. Farrow received his Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Texas Southern University. He continues to have close ties to his alma mater and was the 2016 recipient of the Texas Southern University College of Science, Engineering and Technology, Distinguished Alumni Award.
For three decades, from 1989 to 2019, Mr. Farrow served honorably as a member of the United States Army Reserves. He specialized in human resources and dental services and was a leader throughout his career until his retirement. Mr. Farrow attributes his success to dedication, discipline and his years with the Army. He continues to live by the Army values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage.
Mr. Farrow is committed to community service and dedicated to mentoring young people. As a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., he currently serves as Vice President of the Houston Chapter, Alpha Beta Sigma and Director of Sigma Beta Club of Houston, their youth auxiliary group. Mr. Farrow also received the Volunteer of the Year Award from Crossroads, a community partnership for youth.
Alongside his other civic duties, Mr. Farrow is a volunteer mentor with the Houston Independent School District's, Ascending to Men Mentoring Program. Mr. Farrow will continue to be a contributor to the aviation industry and give back to the younger generation.
