DAYTONA BEACH, FL, November 21, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present P A Arnold with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Arnold celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Arnold is renowned as a special education teacher with more than 40 years of service to her field. Growing up surrounded by teachers, she was inspired to follow the same path, pursuing an education at David Lipscomb College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in 1960. She continued her academic efforts at Wayne State University, obtaining a Master of Arts in 1962. Ms. Arnold continued her studies with a Master of Science from Nova University in 1986.

From 1960 to 1967, Ms. Arnold began her career as a special education teacher for the city systems of Rockford and Warren, Michigan. She worked as the director for the Four-County Center for the Handicapped in Arkansas from 1977 to 1981, at which point she briefly taught for Hobbs Municipal Schools in Hobbs, New Mexico. Ms. Arnold has found success as a teacher of dactylology and an interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing since 1960.

Ms. Arnold is the author of several books, including "Trapezoid of Children" in 1999, and "Ol' Time Preacher Man" in 1995, which was inspired by her husband. She is proud of her hands-on approach to education, and fondly recalls a classroom project grafting sweet orange seedlings, which resulted in the 12-foot orange tree in her front yard and the Volusia Science Award for innovative garden using underground watering, and netting special students eating their vegetables. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold have been on the board of directors of the Hearing Society of Volusia County and she is a member of Project TREE: Technical Resources in Exceptional Education.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, P A Arnold has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
