A graduate of Harvard Law School, Mr. Levine currently serves as an attorney with the eponymous firm of Leonard S. Levine, Attorney at Law. Since the late 1950s, he has represented clients in regards to their real estate transactions, including sales and purchase agreements, leases, financing and refinancing, and government incentives and compliance. Backed by his considerable skill in negotiation, title issues resolution and LLC formation, Mr. Levine helped the construction and leasing of a shopping center in Mount Kisco, NY, acquired land and helped in rezoning and leasing for more than 30 shopping centers across 12 states and assisted in the sales of a 365,000 square foot facility and 10 acres of land in San Carlos, CA.
During the early years of his career, Mr. Levine has also gained valuable expertise as a law associate with Rosenman Colin Kaye Petschek & Freund. He further found success as a law clerk for Judges Calvert McGuder and William Orr of the U.S. Court of Appeals. A dedicated community advocate, Mr. Levine contributes to the less fortunate as the director of the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts.
Before embarking on his career in law, Mr. Levine earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Harvard College in 1956. He later obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Doctor of Laws from Harvard Law School in 1959. Subsequently, he was admitted to practice law through the New York State Bar Association. For his notable accomplishments, he was presented with the Martindale-Hubbell Client Silver Service Champion Award in 2019.
