ORLANDO, FL, November 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present James (Jim) Robert Hosner with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Hosner celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Having accrued more than 40 years of experience in commercial design, Mr. Hosner has become an authority in his industry and currently excels as the owner of TDS Design Studio. He began his career path as a teacher at Vassar High School in 1969, a machinist at Kingston Machine from 1979 to 1982, a behavioral program specialist at the Fern Park Developmental Center between 1982 and 1983, a photographer at Reflection Agency from 1983 to 1987, and a photographer at the Social Journal from 1986 to 1989. Likewise, Mr. Hosner currently maintains a position as a jewelry instructor at the Maitland Art Center.

Mr. Hosner served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until 1971. He was mentored by Doug Fredericks, a high school teacher and Dr. Steven Livingston, a colleague at the University of Central Florida. In accounting for his success, Mr. Hosner credits his family, who encouraged him to pursue his dreams.

In 1990 PTSD caused such depression that work was not possible. In the depths of depression, making jewelry allowed him to move forward. With a lot of help from the VA and an accepting art community, he was able to expand from teaching to painting, sculpture and many shows.
