DALLAS, TX, November 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kathleen Doody, M.D., co-founder of the Center for Assisted Reproduction, CARE Fertility, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in the field are all taken into account during the selection process.

In 1989, Dr. Doody established CARE Fertility, along with her husband, Kevin Doody, M.D., to increase accessibility to assisted reproductive technologies for patients struggling with infertility. Together, the doctors developed effortless IVF®, a revolutionary treatment that greatly reduces the costs, medications and doctor visits, while maintaining the success rates of traditional IVF.

"Kathy works tirelessly as a physician and advocate for couples who want to realize their dreams of starting a family," said Dr. Kevin Doody, CARE Fertility co-founder. "The CARE Fertility team and I are incredibly proud of her for being included in Marquis Who's Who. It's recognition of Kathy's commitment to the highest level of care and continued innovation in assisted reproductive technologies."

Dr. Kathy Doody is renowned as a reproductive endocrinology specialist with more than 25 years of service to her patients. She believes that it is too easy for medical professionals to forget their duty to their patients, and strives to keep their comfort and access to compassionate care her top priority. Dr. Doody is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1980. She subsequently obtained a Doctor of Medicine in 1984 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and was licensed to practice medicine in 1985.

From 1984 to 1988, Dr. Doody completed her medical residency at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. She worked as a post-doctorate fellow in reproductive endocrinology and infertility in the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from 1988 to 1990. Dr. Doody entered her medical specialty because it encompasses everything she loves about providing OBGYN care, and found it extremely gratifying to help patients struggling to conceive to be able to build their families.

Dr. Doody is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology. In addition to the CARE Fertility Centers located in Bedford and Fort Worth, Texas, she has been associated with clinical faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas since 2003.
