An accomplished listee, Mr. Eichenberg celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As a child, Mr. Eichenberg had dreams of becoming a doctor. However, after serving in the U.S. Army between 1965 and 1971, he decided to dedicate himself to his community as a tribute to the friends he lost during the Vietnam War. In 1974, he started as a juvenile probation officer for the Second Judicial District Court, where he served for one year. From there, he became a security officer with the Federal Protection Service from 1975 until 1976. In 1979, he opened Albuquerque Investigation Service, where he served as a fraud investigator until 1991. During this time, Mr. Eichenberg also gained valuable expertise in the field as the owner of Peter Thompson & Associate, an assistant director, and a recreation aide with the KAFB Youth Center, a special deputy with the Sandoval County Sheriff's Department and an investigator in the litigation unit of the City Attorney's Office.
After leaving his fraud investigation service, Mr. Eichenberg lent his services to the New Mexico Workers' Compensation Administration between 1991 and 2000. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of assisting four clients in particular; he was able to make a big impact on their lives, which was especially gratifying. In 2000, he opened a consultancy that he operated for two years before becoming a gaming auditor for the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. Now retired from the field of criminal investigation, Mr. Eichenberg worked as an instructor and coach of the Youth Sports Association from 1980 to 1984.
In 1986, Mr. Eichenberg earned an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Albuquerque. He retains his professional alignment with the National Police and Firefighters Association, the National Notary Association, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He devoted himself to his community as a driver for Catholic Charities of New Mexico from May 2001 to December 2002 and was a sponsor for the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (Roweena Balaguer from 1988 to 1991 and Gangadhar Pendlimarri from 1991 to 2001). He was a member of the Legion of Mary at Our Lady of Assumption Church for three years and a Eucharistic Minister for two years.
Mr. Eichenberg has been honored many times, becoming a John Robert Memorial scholar in 1986, a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honors Society, and is listed in The National Dean's List, 1985-1986, and a Golden Poet Trophy for his poem "Night" through World of Poetry in 1991. As he looks forward into the future, Mr. Eichenberg intends to remain dedicated to his community and local youth groups.
