Ms. Marquez concluded her academic efforts at the American College of Education, earning both a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction and a Master of Arts in educational leadership. Additionally, she pursued and received a certification in coaching and mentorship through the John Maxwell Team.

She continued her education in fields such as personal development, behavioral management, mental health and additional Spanish courses which has allowed her to develop a unique niche in the field of education.

Adjacent to her career, Ms. Marquez has a great passion for exercising as shown by her ownership of a gym as well as her participation in triathlon races, marathon races, and Spartan races. Reflecting her avocation, she believes that the secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past not to worry about the future but to live wisely in the here and now. Ms. Marquez is the proud mother of two children, through which she has welcomed two granddaughters into her immediate family.

Ms. Marquez continues to write books to empower men and women as an international speaker where she develops her message of personal development and leadership as well as facilitating their Lead Youth Program in public and private facilities.
