Shane Weissman Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Weissman has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the field of entrepreneurship

SHASTA LAKE, CA, December 05, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Shane Weissman with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Weissman celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Weissman has garnered a laudable reputation as the owner of Shane's Auto Accessories since its establishment in 1986. He initially worked as a dispatcher for Doug Scott and Company, a subsidiary of the Los Angeles Coroner's Office, between 1976 and 1978. Previously, Mr. Weissman maintained activity for six years as a pinstriper for Trim Line of Northern California in Redding, decorating vehicles in car lots.

Mr. Weissman has harbored a multifaceted fascination in art since his childhood. In 1996, he wrote the lyrics for the song "If You Really Loved Me, You'd Have Never Said I Do" and "If She Hadn't Been So Pretty, I Would Have Seen the Train." A year later, he authored his first book "Nifty Nursery Rhymes."

Mr. Weissman's wife, Carla, was his high school sweetheart. They've been married since 1976. Without her, "I'd never have amounted to anything", he says.

Since 1988, Mr. Weissman has been involved in his community as a public speaker at local prisons. Volunteering his time by working with various types of offenders, he helped to rehabilitate many of them through the deep study and contemplation of the Bible. In fact, five of the inmates with whom Mr. Weissman worked became ministers after completing their sentences.

Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Weissman moved to Northern California in 1978. Shane says, "The mentoring from Doug Scott in the 1970s was an initial reason for much of my later success."

He has been featured in the 27th edition of Who's Who in the West. Adjacent to his professional journey, Mr. Weissman has enjoyed such diversions as unicycle riding and motivational speaking.
