Drawing upon more than 45 years of practical experience in law, Mr. Quirk is an ambitious lawyer who has been an associate of Emile Banks and Associates LLC since 2015. Specializing in insurance defense, transportation defense, civil litigation, worker's compensation and product liability, he is licensed to practice law in all Wisconsin state courts. Moreover, Mr. Quirk has been further admitted by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Military Appeals and the U.S. Court of Claims.

Prior to joining Emile Banks and Associates, Mr. Quirk was a shareholder with O'Neill, Schimmel, Quirk & Carroll in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 1990 to 2015. Previously, he was an associate of Arnold, Murray and O'Neill and a lawyer for the Lawyer Defense Appellate Division of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Judge Advocates in Virginia between 1971 and 1975. During his time with the military, Mr. Quirk notably served to the rank of a captain of the Judge Advocate General Corps. In the later years when civil litigation was the primary focus, he tried approximately 70 jury trials to verdict.

Mr. Quirk pursued an education at Notre Dame University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1968, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Marquette University in 1971. Since those achievements, he has maintained his professional membership with the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the Wisconsin Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute and the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association. In recognition of his success in the legal industry, Mr. Quirk has held an AV preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell since 1993.
