Michael M. Maziasz is renowned as a retired competitor intelligence specialist, accruing an impressive tenure with General Motors for more than 45 years.

Mr. Maziasz is renowned as a retired competitor intelligence specialist, accruing an impressive tenure with General Motors for more than 45 years. He joined General Motors in 1959 after graduating from high school, having discovered the company's employee tuition reimbursement plan. He subsequently served his country as a member of the New York National Guard from 1960 to 1965. Mr. Maziasz earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University in 1969 and a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from the New York Institute of Technology in 1982.

From 1959 to 1965, Mr. Maziasz worked as a product distributor for the overseas operations division of General Motors Corporation in New York City. He later served the aforementioned corporation as an overseas operations analyst in 1965, a senior overseas operations analyst in 1969 and a senior staff analyst from 1975 to 1979. Mr. Maziasz further found success as an administrator for General Motors Corporation based in Detroit, MI, from 1979 to 1983, and an assistant director from 1983 until his retirement in 2004.

Mr. Maziasz was lauded for his accuracy and insight as a manager of competitor intelligence, and provided previews of future automotive car and truck programs for release in the United States market. He attributes his success to his dedication to the company and his team, and an excitement for the responsibilities his positions afforded him. A Master Mason, and a member of Delta Mu Delta, Mr. Maziasz was additionally active in the United States Power Squadron in the state of Michigan, and was elected to the Society of Automotive Analysts Board of Directors. Mr. Maziasz continues to be active in his retirement by keeping an analytical eye on the stock market, enjoys playing golf in the Michigan summers, continues to be an avid photographer, and spends time with his family who all live close to his home.
