An accomplished listee, Mr. Brown celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Brown is renowned as a retired superior court judge with more than 45 years of prudent interpretation of the law to his credit. Inspired by a childhood family friend who eventually flourished as superior court judge, he knew early in his life that his passion was the law. Mr. Brown was subsequently admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Georgia.

Following these accomplishments, Mr. Brown began his legal career as an attorney at the firm of Anderson, Walker, and Reichert in Macon. He additionally worked with the firm of Gerald Mullis and W. Carl Reynolds. From 1967 to 1969, Mr. Brown was active as an attorney and regional counsel for the Internal Revenue Service in New York City.

Moreover, Mr. Brown excelled as a partner of Brown, Katz, Flatau, & Hasty in Macon from 1969 to 1995. He was later appointed as a judge to the Superior Court for the Macon Judicial Circuit in 1996. Mr. Brown subsequently found success in the aforementioned position until his retirement in 2016.

In addition to his legal career, Mr. Brown is a former member of the Georgia House of Representatives, having served from 1971 to 1974, during which time he was recognized Legislator of the Year. Accepting a 2018 Diamond Award for his peer ratings as a judge, he has been honored among the Top Attorneys in North America in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Looking toward the future, Mr. Brown hopes to finish authoring a book on American religiosity and the statistical decrease in church attendance throughout the 20th century.
