Drawing upon many years of practiced experience in various aspects of law, Mr. Ward excels as the president of Michelizzi, Scwabacher, Ward & Ward, where he specializes in commercial, real estate and contract law, as well as in business and development disputes. Additionally, he has served as an attorney with the Antelope Valley Transit Authority since 1992. Over the years, Mr. Ward gained valuable industry experience as a city attorney for the city of Lancaster between 1978 and 1988, and as an associate and a partner with Michelizzi, Schwabacher, Ward & Ward.
Before beginning his career in the field, Mr. Ward earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of San Francisco in 1964. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law in 1967. Upon graduating from law school, he was admitted to practice through the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Ward remains aligned with the American Bar Association, the Antelope Valley Bar Association and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce.
During his spare time, Mr. Ward contributes to his community as a member of the Father Serra Parrish Financial Council, the Paraclete High School Development Committee, the Antelope Valley Hospital Gift Foundation, the Lancaster Old Town Site and the Lancaster School Foundation. For his professional accomplishments, he was honored with the Schwabacher Award from the Antelope Valley Bar Association. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ward intends to remain an active attorney for as long as he is able.
