SAPPHIRE, NC, January 13, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Michael Glenn with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Glenn celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Glenn is renowned as an attorney with more than 50 years of distinction in his field. Initially completing coursework at Clemson College in 1960, he earned a Bachelor of Arts at Furman University in 1962. The first member of his family to attend college, he scored exceptionally well on the law school entrance exams without mentoring or any professional role models. Mr. Glenn graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Laws, cum laude, in 1965, and was admitted to practice law by the State Bar of South Carolina the same year.

Mr. Glenn began his career as an associate of Robert N. Daniel Jr. throughout 1965. From 1965 to 1969, he worked as an associate of Watkins, Vandiver, Kirven, Long, & Gable and a partner of Fant, Doyle, Glenn, & Vaughan from 1970 to 1972. In 1972, he was appointed as a judge presiding over Anderson County in South Carolina, where he remained until 1978. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Glenn flourished in Anderson County as a city recorder from 1969 to 1972.

Mr. Glenn found further success as a partner of McIntosh, Threlkeld, Glenn, & Sherard, Anderson in South Carolina from 1978 to 1983. Operating out of his private practice from 1983 to 1992, he has since excelled as a partner of Glenn, Haigler & Maddox, where he remains to this day. Serving on several legislative advisory boards on juvenile justice and alcohol and drug prevention, Mr. Glenn was formerly active as the chairman of Head Start and the YMCA.

A fellow emeritus of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Glenn has been affiliated with the South Carolina Bar Association. He recalls his successful involvement in a series of suits against a financial planner accused of defrauding working-class clients in a Ponzi scheme, and the subsequent recovery of much of the clients' money, as a career highlight. Moreover, Mr. Glenn has been selected for inclusion in the 24th edition of Who's Who in the South and Southwest and multiple volumes of Who's Who in America.
