OCONOMOWOC, WI, January 13, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Rose Marie Reich with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Reich celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Reich is renowned as a retired art educator celebrating nearly 35 years of classroom instruction. She was raised surrounded by the arts, and discovered an early interest in pursuing a creative career. Her desire to teach was solidified by an argument she had with her elementary school teacher over the meaning of one of her drawings. This memory has stuck with Ms. Reich, inspiring her to teach art interpretation from multiple perspectives.

Ms. Reich initially pursued an education at Milwaukee Downer College, graduating in 1959 with a Bachelor of Arts. She later earned a Master of Arts at the University of Wyoming in 1967. She subsequently taught art for Oconomowoc Area Schools in Oconomowoc, WI, from 1959 until her retirement in 1993. Furthermore, Ms. Reich is most proud of having executed complex, interdisciplinary projects at a small local school, and fondly recalls a unit combining study of the rainforest, the ocean, and flight as a highlight of her career.

In her retirement, she dedicates her time to restoring antique mannequins and religious icons. Likewise, Ms. Reich enjoys needle and paper crafts, and specializes in Wycinanki paper cutting.
