Carol Evanoff Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Evanoff is a systems planning expert and consultant with more than 45 years of innovation in her field. A curious child, she recalls an early penchant for reading manuals and dismantling myriad devices in order to learn how they worked. Attending Evergreen Valley College, Ms. Evanoff earned an Associate of Arts in 1986, and continued her education at Saint Mary's University, at which she completed a Bachelor of Science in management in 1988.

From 1973 until 1975, Ms. Evanoff established herself in the industry as an electronics technician for Raytheon Semiconductor Company. She subsequently embarked upon a long career with Lockheed Missiles and Space Corporation in 1975 as a micro-electronics assembler, rising to the position of a production controller in 1977 and a manufacturing supervisor in 1979. Ms. Evanoff is proud to have been one of the youngest managers in Lockheed history, and has a passion to help other women succeed in the same way she did. Since 1979, she has served coach and mentor at Lockheed Missile and Space Corporation.

Ms. Evanoff was promoted to the role of a Product Assurance supervisor in 1984, a Composites Manager in 1985, and the missile Structures Assembly in 1986. From 1990 to 1996, she excelled as the division manager of electronics manufacturing for Lockheed. She was then promoted to the Lockheed Martin Resident Director of the Pacific Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific from 1996 and 2010, when she retired and transitioned into consulting. Since 2018, Ms. Evanoff has been a subject matter expert for Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.

Ms. Evanoff's work has included breakthroughs in composite autoclave loading using AI and the development of a laser measurement tool for missile and aircraft fasteners. She was appointed by the governor of Washington state to co-chair the Puget Sound Military Alliance Team, and has participated in analysis work regarding base closure analysis and defense. Among other accolades, Ms. Evanoff is the recipient of three Navy Command Raborn Awards and three United States Presidents' Volunteer Service Awards for her work in the military communities. She is a member of the Society for Advancement of Material and Process Engineering and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Ms. Evanoff has mentored over 1,089 protégés in the STEM fields. She also speaks at Women in Technology International (WITI), Federally Employed Women (FEW), Blacks in Government (BIG), Anita Borg Institute and at various STEM companies.
