Anthony Pasqua has served the nation for more than 30 years retiring as a Brigadier General of the New York Army National Guard.
BONITA SPRINGS, FL, January 15, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Pasqua has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Pasqua is living proof of how serving in the United States Armed Forces can significantly affect a person's life's achievements. Having begun his career in the New York Army National Guard, Mr. Pasqua earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from lona College in 1964. He then went on to Marist College, where he received a Master of Public Administration in 1991. Due to his passion and sincere commitment to our military, Mr. Pasqua earned a diploma from the United States Army War College. He subsequently progressed through the military ranks and has served the nation for more than 30 years retiring as a Brigadier General of the New York Army National Guard. During his military tenure, he made plans to shift his career focus to financial planning as another means of servicing the public.
In 1980, Mr. Pasqua's 5-year-old daughter, Susan, was diagnosed with Leukemia, with a life expectancy of less than 6 months. Thanks to medical and technological advancements, along with faith, hope and a bone marrow transplant from her brother Michael, she survived and lives a happy and fruitful life with her husband, Brian. Susan is truly a miracle! In addition, his son Michael, who helped save Susan's life, later developed Non-Hodkins Lymphoma. Again, due to blessings from Heaven, to date, Michael is also cancer free, enjoying family life. For Mr. Pasqua, these were defining moments that helped him discover his purpose in life and enhanced his faith in the holy church and belief in miracles. From 1996 to 1998, he served as the prior III for the Sovereign Military Order Temple of Jerusalem, where he obtained a Papal Decree from Pope Francis as well as a meritorious medal for his services.
In addition to the challenges of watching his children suffer and live through the horrors of blood cancer, he made it his mission to once again serve the community by joining the Children's Leukemia Research Association, Inc. and subsequently has been the organization's president since 1996. Mr. Pasqua has and continues to contribute a great deal of his personal time and effort as the leader of the Board of Trustees to determine the most effective ways the organization can finance research and development while financially assisting victims of this insidious disease. Apart from these responsibilities, he has also served as the Chairman of the American Lung Association of the Northeast in Waltham, MA, from 2007 to 2014.
Today, Mr. Pasqua is active as a financial planner with the Integrated Financial Partners in Florida. Prior to this position, he excelled as a financial planner for Allmerica Financial in New York from 1994 to 2003. During this time, Mr. Pasqua also found success as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College in New York from 1994 to 1998.
Mr. Pasqua envisions a community where those in need of medical assistance only need to concentrate on recovery as the necessary resources will be made available to all, and the community members will be ready to share their graces. As time progresses and new medical enhancements are being made every day, he hopes to be able to continue to do what he loves best: to serve the nation and its communities in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
