Richard Imbimbo is proud to have been able to use his genuine care and love for people to create a special niche in the auto repair industry.
GILLETE, NJ, January 16, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard Imbimbo has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A graduate of Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights in 1977, Mr. Imbimbo first began repairing cars with his father as a young boy. His love and passion for the work eventually led him to open his own repair shop, Rich's Automotive in 1992. With considerable expertise in diagnostic troubleshooting, and honest car repair, Mr. Imbimbo has excelled in the automotive industry for over five decades. Attributing much of his success to his Christian faith, Mr. Imbimbo has always striven to find a balance between home, his faith, and work. Through this mission, his even deeper love and compassion for people further led him to form his 501c3 non profit, Kingdom Cars (est. 1994).
Mr. Imbimbo is proud to have been able to use his genuine care and love for people to create a special niche in the auto repair industry. His favorite line of scripture is 1 John 3:17-18, "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth." This line serves as the foundation for Kingdom Cars. The mission of Kingdom Cars is to help struggling families afford car repairs and/or receive donated cars while helping these families achieve financial freedom through a budget management course.
Mr. Imbimbo considers the highlight of his career to be when he was able to open his own repair shop so that he could break away from employment in the traditional sense to focus on the integrity and ethics behind his repairs.
Active civically in his community, Mr. Imbimbo contributed over 20 years as a volunteer firefighter in Berkeley Heights. Mr. Imbimbo was born at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, to his father, Dominick Imbimbo and his mother, Carmella Imbimbo. Happily married to his wife, Dawn Robin, for many years, he is the proud father of three children, Kristen, Andrew and Emily, and grandfather to two wonderful grandchildren. Never looking too far ahead, Mr. Imbimbo aspires to live his life one day at a time.
