SMYRNA, TN, January 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glenda James has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After gaining valuable expertise as a staff nurse in various army hospitals during the mid-1960s and early 1970s, Ms. James has worked in similar positions for Silas Hayes Army Hospital, the Army Dispensary in Gelnhausen, Germany and the Darnell Army Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas. Subsequently, she flourished at the Martin Army Community Hospital as a clinical nurse between 1980 and 1992. From 1992 to 2005, Ms. James found success as a nurse at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center until her well-deserved retirement in 2005.

In pursuit of her career in nursing, Ms. James earned a diploma from Burge Protestant School of Nursing in 1963. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she has been affiliated with the American Red Cross since the early 1970s. Ms. James proudly dedicates her spare time to her family, including her three children, Gale, Erin and Stephen, as well as her eight grandchildren.

Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. James is especially proud of her efforts in caring for veterans.
