    SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, TX, January 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roy Davis Linville Jumper has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With 40 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Jumper currently excels as the owner of CDR Press, an independent publisher based out of South Padre Island. An expert on public affairs, he worked as an adjunct professor at the Middlesex Research Center with the U.S. Navy from 1997 to 2004. Prior to these appointments, Dr. Jumper flourished as an associate instructor at Arizona State University between 1985 and 1986.

Previously, Dr. Jumper held the position of an assistant managing director for International Business Associates in Cairo in 1983. Prior to this appointment, he served as an intern with the Cummins Engine Foundation in Columbus, IN, from 1980 until 1981. Dr. Jumper began his career as a librarian's assistant with Indiana University from 1979 to 1980.

Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Jumper pursued an education at the American Community School Beirut, completing coursework between 1966 and 1972. He continued his academic efforts at Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1982. Following these accomplishments, he obtained a Master of Public Administration from the University of Maine in 1985. Dr. Jumper concluded his studies at the University of Tennessee in 1996, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Jumper has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. Since 1999, he has contributed to the Linville Family LLC as a consultant. He was also active with the U.S. Navy Pace Program at Central Texas College from 1997 until 2004 and the U.S. Navy Afloat Program, offering university courses on aircraft carriers while researching the jungles in Southeast Asia. In addition to his primary vocation, Dr. Jumper remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, including the Association for Asian Studies, the American Political Science Association and Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.

Dr. Jumper found success with his written works as well, having authored "Power and Politics: The Story of Malaysia's Orang Asli," "Orang Asli Now: The Orang Asli in the Malaysian Political World," and the critically-acclaimed "Death Waits in the Dark: The Senoi Praak, Malaysia's Killer Elite." Additionally conducting research on the colonial administration in Algeria, he published "Ruslan of Malaysia: The Man Behind the Domino That Didn't Fall" and "When Armies Die: Kesselschlacht and Aufiragstaktic Verlorne" through CDR Press in recent years. Initially garnering publishing experience as an assistant in the Cairo office of an English-language newspaper, Dr. Jumper has penned myriad articles for professional journals.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Jumper has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. From 1977 to 1979, he was recognized as a scholar of French history and civil law by the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. He is especially proud of his tenure as a long distance swimmer, which he cites as the highlight of his career and the inspiration for great strength as well as his desire to continue working. Likewise, Dr. Jumper was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America.
