Darlene Trappier is renowned as a social services administrator with more than 25 years of service to others and her community.

    HAINESPORT, NJ, January 30, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Darlene Trappier has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Trappier is renowned as a social services administrator with more than 25 years of service to others and her community. She initially pursued an education at Santa Monica College, graduating with an Associate of Arts in political science and government in 1980. Since 2010, Ms. Trappier has excelled as the executive director of Beacon of Hope Incorporated of New Jersey.

Ms. Trappier's passion for helping others developed during her formative years, having been the single mother of a special needs infant. During this time, she was thrown out of her mother's house and slept on a park bench for three days after her welfare check was stolen. Ms. Trappier prayed for the opportunity to prevent others from experiencing the same thing, and has dedicated her life to providing social services to others in the years since.

From 1998 to 2002, Ms. Trappier flourished as an assistant manager for the Tri-State Health and Welfare Fund. She subsequently found success as the owner and the operator of My Dollar Store from 2002 to 2007. In her present position, Ms. Trappier is currently working on the acquisition of a large building to house a proposed soup kitchen, and purchasing properties for subsidized housing for single parents.

Ms. Trappier is additionally active as a Board member with The Human Services Advisory Council, and liaison with the Food Bank of South Jersey, which was celebrated as the Food Pantry of the Year in 2016 and 2018. She is a member of the Continuum of Care Committee and Homeless Advocacy Task Force under the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders She believes that life gives back what we put into it, and prospers in the power of changing lives incrementally. Ms. Trappier credits her success to her husband and her children as well as her faith in God.
