Previously, he worked as senior counsel for Einstein Pham & Glass between 2017 and 2018, a partner with Freid & Goldman from 1985 to 1993 and from 2004 until 2017 and as an attorney at law for the Law Offices of Laurence R. Goldman from 2003 to 2004. Mr. Goldman began his career in the field operating out of his private practice from the late 1970s until the mid-1980s.
Before establishing his private practice, Mr. Goldman earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting from California State University, Northridge in 1973 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from San Fernando Valley College of Law in 1976. Additionally, he is certified in divorce mediation and advanced family mediation through Pepperdine University's Strauss Institute of Dispute Resolution. Subsequently, Mr. Goldman was admitted to practice law through the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Goldman retains his professional alignment with the family law sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Los Angeles Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Mr. Goldman is a director of Public Counsel, the largest pro bono legal aid organization in the country.
For his outstanding work in the field, Mr. Goldman has been recognized as a California Super Lawyer for the past 16 years. Looking toward the future, he intends to spend more time with his children and grandchildren, who currently reside in Zurich, Switzerland. A dedicated mentor, Mr. Goldman also aims to continue serving as a role model for up-and-coming legal professionals.
