He initially pursued an education at Andhra University, graduating in 2004 with a Master of Computer Applications in systems networking. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Bhardwaj worked as an information security analyst for Vertex Computer Systems. He was active as a team manager for Patni Computer Systems from 2006 to 2009, and served as the director and the program chair of the ISACA New Delhi Chapter from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Bhardwaj began his tenure with FIS in 2009 as a security and governance manager, rising to the posts of an IT security manager in 2013 and a senior security manager in 2014.
Furthermore, Mr. Bhardwaj flourished as the director of information security assurance services for FIS from 2015 to 2018, when he accepted a position as the risk and compliance principal for FICO. Since 2019, he has excelled as the vice president of global privacy and data security for Duff & Phelps. Additionally, Mr. Bhardwaj is a member of the board of the United Technology Project, the UP Tech Foundation and task force member of the International Consortium for Minority Professionals.
Among other honors, Mr. Bhardwaj has been recognized among Security Systems News' 20 Under 40. Likewise, he is the finalist of a 2017 Information Security Leadership Award.
