An authority in her field, she attributes her success to her mentor and family friend Ken Liggett for supporting her designs and showing her the ropes of the business. Ms. Rieger always tells her clients that "if you can dream it, she can make it."

At first, Ms. Rieger had no intention of becoming a jeweler because, at the time, women were not traditionally included in the industry. However, she entered her profession because her mentor believed her to be a talented artist and encouraged her to produce her designs in gold. Notably, Ms. Rieger creates one-of-a-kind fine jewelry from diamonds, rubies, gold and platinum in her present responsibilities.

Civically engaged, Ms. Rieger enjoys making jewelry for charity events. She remains active with a number of prominent organizations, including the House of Hope, Hospice, United for Families, the American Heart Association and the Hibiscus Children's Center, among many others. Looking toward the future, Ms. Rieger expanded her business with a restaurant and tearoom.
