Inspired by her father, a professional in the concrete business, Ms. Bruce was encouraged to pursue a career in construction and project management. After gaining valuable expertise in management and customer service, she flourished as a runner for Lindhout Associates Architects in 2007. Two years later, Ms. Bruce began her career as a field measurer for O'Neal Construction, Inc. before joining the retail industry via Oak Point Country Club and Mden.
In 2011, Ms. Bruce accepted a position as the chair of the emerging professionals committee for the Detroit Regional chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, where she later found success as a member of the board of directors. She currently excels as a construction manager for General Development Company, a full-service real estate developer, landlord and general contractor, providing industrial, commercial and construction services in southeast Michigan. An expert in her field, Ms. Bruce initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2011.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Bruce is affiliated with the United States Green Building Council. For her outstanding work, she was recognized as a Notable Woman in Real Estate by Cranes in 2019.
