HENDERSON, NV, February 17, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thomas Hillery has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Hillery is renowned as a film and video producer with more than a decade of distinction in his industry. His interest in film and video content began when he realized the number of underserved niche-content markets that existed within the entertainment industry, and capitalized upon a business opportunity. Prior to embarking upon his professional path, he pursued an education at Clark University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. Mr. Hillery subsequently obtained a Master of Liberal Arts at Harvard University in 1997.
Mr. Hillery has excelled as a writer, a director and an executive producer for Starlight Productions. He is proud to have worked with Academy Award(®) nominee Eric Roberts on his first feature film, "Project Solitude," in 2009. Currently, he has two other feature-length films in post-production; one of them, "Legionnaire's Trail," also stars an Academy Award(®) nominee, Mickey Rourke. A charter member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum, Mr. Hillery hopes to adapt more of his original material into screenplays while continuing to serve special-interest audiences with quality content.
In addition to his work in media, Mr. Hillery is an accredited tax assessor in the state of Massachusetts. Between 1987 and 1996, he was elected three times to the Board of Property Tax Assessors for Sudbury, MA. Furthermore, Mr. Hillery is the namesake and presenter of the annual Hillery Award at the Rindge Technical School Alumni meeting, the oldest academic award at the oldest, active high school alumni association in the USA (Rindge is now part of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School). Mr. Hillery is a member of the Harvard Faculty Club as well as the Harvard Clubs of Boston, New York and Nevada.
