Micah founded RealJoy Vacations in early 2009, with only 20 units to manage. Mr. Berg worked tirelessly to turn RealJoy Vacations into one of the leading companies in the industry with more than 700 units as of late 2019.
Recently, Mr. Berg also founded the Vacation Rental University, which aims to educate the vacation rental and short-term rental space to a high level of competency and consistency. With his unique range of knowledge, he has notably developed and sold vacation rental operational management software to a public software company that has now become their flagship vacation rental product. Prior to entering the travel industry, he gained valuable expertise as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. Likewise, Mr. Berg has served his country from 2002-2006 in the Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq twice during Operation Iraqi Freedom I & III and ended his active duty enlistment as a Sergeant.
In light of his outstanding work in these various roles, Mr. Berg accepted Navy and Marine Corps Medals, as well as numerous awards from Merrill Lynch for superior performance and production for his efforts on a team that served as fiduciary managers for more than $400 million in investments during his time with Merrill Lynch. Moreover, he was honored on the Inc 5000 list in 2018 and 2019 and recognized as one of the Top 100 Entrepreneurs in Real Estate and the Impact Company of the Year Award from TheDotCom Magazine. Most recently Micah has begun writing and producing educational content for Agora Financial and hopes to launch that into a global brand helping entrepreneurs in business and real estate achieve their dreams of creating wealth and legacy.
