While in medical school, Dr. Rodwell wavered in regards to his specialty, even though he knew that he wanted to be a surgeon. Backed by his innate curiosity of the anatomy of the head and neck, he began to pursue facial plastic surgery. Since 2013, he has excelled as a facial plastic surgeon at Charleston Facial Plastic Surgery. In addition to providing surgical services for the eyes, nose, face, ears and neck, Dr. Rodwell offers non-surgical solutions, including injectables, lip enhancement, non-surgical nose jobs and laser treatments.

Prior to opening Charleston Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Rodwell gained valuable expertise as a facial plastic surgery fellow at Hedgewood Surgical Center in New Orleans. Between 2008 and 2013, he flourished as a resident in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the University of Tennessee. In pursuit of his career in medicine, Dr. Rodwell earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Hampden-Sydney College in 2003 and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2008.

In order to remain aware of changes in an ever-changing field, Dr. Rodwell has been affiliated with the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
