PUYALLUP, WA, March 04, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carol Lennart-Reed has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With many years of practiced experience in education and music, Ms. Reed serves as a piano teacher and composer in her area. Following the personal tragedy of her brother's passing a mere three days before Christmas, she attended her local church and was encouraged to start composing due to her expressive style. Previously, she gained valuable expertise in music as a church organist and in real estate as a professional in Ocean Shores. During the earliest years of her career, Ms. Reed worked as a schoolteacher for the Sumner School District for 24 years and six years in other districts.

Before becoming an educator, Ms. Reed earned a Bachelor of Arts in education with a minor in music from Washington State University in 1958. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she affiliates herself with the Payallup Valley Chapter of the Washington State Music Teachers Association. Ms. Reed is likewise a member of the Mount Rainer Chapter of the Music Teachers National Association.

In recognition of her professional work, Ms. Reed received a Teacher of the Year Award in 1975, inclusion in Outstanding Teachers of America in 1975 and an American Woman Composer of the Year Award through the National Federation of Music Clubs. While working in real estate, she also won a Real Estate Top Producer Award. Looking toward the future, Ms. Reed intends to continue teaching piano. She cannot imagine herself not being involved with music in some way.
