AUSTELL, GA, March 06, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wendy Jackson has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

As a young woman, Ms. Jackson was inspired to create while working on a class art project. After losing her mother in 2001, she asked herself what kind of legacy she could leave for others and decided to pursue a career in the arts. Subsequently, Ms. Jackson wrote and illustrated a book of poetry called "Food for the Soul," which she dedicated to her mother.

Now active as an independent visual artist through Wenj Artist, Ms. Jackson has had her work featured in The Defoor Centre, Taste of Acworth, the Cobb Art Ball, the Marietta Square Artist Market and the Juried North Georgia Artist Guild, among other lauded venues. Over the years, she has also exhibited her work at 2RulesFineart Gallery, the Cherokee County Art Center, Mable House Art Center, the Art Presentation for the North Georgia Arts Guild and The Gallery at Powder Spring. This year, her artwork was showcased at Parallax Art Fair, London, England on February 14-16 and her solo show with the South Cobb Art Alliance at Vining Library will be on display from January 30 through April 27, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. Due to her outstanding work, she was featured in Upscale Magazine in 2016 through 2019 and in two press releases in Charleston Style & Design Magazine Fall 2019 and Winter 2020. A self-taught artist, Ms. Jackson has utilized various tools and an array of color to create wonderful and original designs.

During her spare time, Ms. Jackson contributes to her community as an art donor with Jeffrey Fashion Cares, UNICEF, No Kid Hungry and the Townley Art Foundation. Throughout her career, she has been presented with the Tea Room Award from Maple House and the Best Abstract Award from FASO BoldBrush in 2019 for her artwork "Transition." Looking toward the future, Ms. Jackson intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career and become one of the top visual arts in the world.
