Mr. Wasko was admitted to practice law by the Illinois State Bar Association in 1979.
From 1979 to 1981, Mr. Wasko began his career as an associate of Blanshan & Summerfield in Park Ridge. He found success as a partner of Summerfield & Wasko from 1981 to 1986, departing to establish his sole practice, where he would remain through 1990. Mr. Wasko further flourished as a partner of Wasko & Michaels from 1990 to 1991 and a managing partner of Steven Wasko & Associates from 1992 to 1995. Since 1995, Mr. Wasko has excelled as a partner of Steponate & Wasko Ltd of Chicago.
Mr. Wasko has additionally served as the director of the Kolan Corporation since 1988. He is active in charitable efforts benefiting local schools and church communities, and has worked as a Great Books leader for the Field School District since 1997. Likewise, Mr. Wasko has held administrative positions in the family law division of the Illinois State Bar Association.
