As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With many years of experience to her credit, Brenda Carol Yoder, PhD, excelled as a financial and child specialist for the Office of Head Start with the Administration for Children and Families with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 1999 to 2019. Additionally, she has been active with the U.S. Department of Defense while helping to provide temporary assistance to low income families. She continued her academic efforts with a Master of Science in financial management. In 2002, Dr. Yoder concluded her studies with a Doctor of Psychology at Ashford University.

Beyond her primary responsibilities in the field, Dr. Yoder has participated in numerous endeavors within her professional circles. She contributed to the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as an EEOC Counselor and EEOC Workshop Leader for training programs throughout several states. She is particularly proud of being able to help pregnant mothers and school staff members, many of whom were underpaid and overworked, continue their education with financial support from the federal government. Over the course of her career with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Yoder was responsible for handling hundreds of millions of dollars in grant money to ensure it was being put to good use for those in need.

Dr. Yoder was initially drawn to her chosen profession as a result of her upbringing, as her father died while she was very young and her single mother and her extended family supported them throughout their formative years.
