A celebrated financial authority for nearly four decades, Mr. DiBacco is a Registered Principal and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. For the last ten years he has found success as President of Wealthmaker$, a firm he established in Omaha, Nebraska.

He began his financial career with Hi Plains Financial Services in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. During his first year in the business, he was the National Rookie of the Year for Security Mutual Life Nebraska, earning his first membership in the Million Dollar Round Table. He was a member of the Company's Presidents Club several years, qualifying for many Industry Recognitions including the National Sales Achievement-and National Quality Awards. He became a General Agent with Ohio National Financial Services when he formed Wealthmaker$ LTD. After five years he was asked to be a Regional Vice President to empower other General Agents in a six Midwest States region, which entailed his move to Omaha. For the next four years his region had the First in Class Agency for his company as recognized by the General Agents & Managers Association (GAMA) International. In 2009 he left the corporate position to re-establish Wealthmaker$ in Omaha, Nebraska, where he could once again mentor individuals to personal success. The Wealthmaker$ Team ranks among the top Ohio National Agencies, having more than $1 Billion of Life Insurance in force. Mr. DiBacco has consistently been a recipient of the GAMA International Management Award.

Born and raised in Wyoming, Jay began his leadership career as a Boy Scout earning an enormous number of badges in a broad range of subjects. He put that knowledge to use on the camp staff teaching younger scouts and helping them to succeed. When he attended the University of Wyoming, he continued enabling young Eagle Scouts as the campus coordinator for the National Eagle Scout Association, while earning a Music degree with an Education endorsement. His first post graduate job was at St. Agnes Academy in Alliance, NE, where, by the end of his first year he had 149 of 154 total school students in at least one musical group. Those students learned the value of hard work when all of their entries in the District Music Contest brought home Blue Ribbons. Within weeks he received several job offers, and the next year moved to Gering, Nebraska to teach 7-12th grades. He taught the value of focused teamwork that resulted in winning their first major tri-state Band Day competition. He teaches, mentors, and enables in all his roles.

Jay's military involvement carried a familiar theme, where the unit he commanded earned a perfect score in an Army Testing & Evaluation Program, bringing him recognition as the Nebraska Company Grade Commander of the Year. Later, after graduating with Commandant's List honors from the U. S. Army Command & General Staff College, he supervised Nebraska's United States Property and Fiscal Office, twice winning the Chief of Staff Army Award for Excellence. Other military honors include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, and induction into the Ancient and Honorable Order of St. Barbara. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. DiBacco is notably one of few soldiers to have been awarded the American Spirit Honor Medal, presented by the Citizens Committee for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force, Inc. He is a life member of the National Guard Association of the United States and the Military Officers Association of America.

Professionally he was the Local President of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors chapter when they earned the Association Achievement Award and was recognized as their Agent of the Year. Jay was the catalyst and Founding President of the Panhandle Estate Planning Council as a chapter of the national organization. Since he worked with business owners, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree, and is a graduate of the GAMA Essentials of Leadership course.

Mr. DiBacco's prolific civic activities have included the United Way as Diplomat Chairman, Boy Scouts of America as a District Commissioner, board member of the Regional West Medical Center Foundation and adjunct faculty member of Western Nebraska Community College.
In the hobby realm he was a Regional Safety Officer for the Society of Creative Anachronism, Founding President of the Valley Vintners, and a licensed member of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service. Mr. DiBacco has many philanthropic interests and supports a plethora of noble causes. Jay is a Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

He has managed to keep his music alive in various musical groups, forming a Barbershop Quartet and a Woodwind Quintet that performed at local events and Senior Centers, as a performing member of the Scottsbluff Symphony Orchestra as well as the Sugar Valley Singers, a Barbershop Chorus. He was twice President of that group and later honored as the Barbershopper of the Year. Jay actively promoted The Stars of Tomorrow and American Youth Symphony talent programs. Currently he is a member of the Pathfinder Chorus in Fremont, NE, which has been ranked as high as 10th internationally.

Mr. DiBacco puts God, Family, Country, and helping others as his personal priorities. His favorite quote is by Oliver Wendell Homes Sr: "Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions" and he uses the number of people he has helped to succeed as his personal yardstick.
