Kyle Bragg attributes much of his success to the work ethic he developed as a student athlete.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ, March 16, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kyle Bragg has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Kyle received a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education, Teacher Education from Illinois State University in 2010, and a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. He began his career in 2011 teaching K-8 Physical Education in Lostant, Illinois, where he also served as the Athletic Director. He then taught high school physical education at Normal Community High School in Illinois until 2014. Kyle moved to the Phoenix, Arizona area, where he taught at Noah Webster School from 2014-2016. He is currently teaching in his fourth year at Anasazi Elementary School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Kyle has been featured on international platforms, including three international podcasts: The Global Physed Voxcast based in Saudi Arabia, the PE Geek based in Australia, and The PE Umbrella based in England. He was also featured in "The Benefits of Teaching SEL in Health and Physical Education" by Study International. He reaches a global audience by giving online webinars and moderating social media chats. Kyle also writes monthly blogs. His blog entitled "How to Integrate Social and Emotional Learning in PE to Improve Classroom Climate" was recognized by Shape America as its "Top Blog of 2019."
Kyle is an active volunteer for organizations in his community and beyond, including serving as a golf coach for the Special Olympics, and as a planner and organizer for Special Kids Field Day. Other volunteer activities include Treasures for Teachers, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, food drives for Vista Del Camino, and Scottsdale's Parada Del Sol festival which raises awareness for the needs of the underserved
Kyle serves as the Advocacy Chair for the Arizona Health and Physical Education Association. This brings him into contact with state and national legislators, with whom he stresses the importance of quality Physical Education and its impact on children. Kyle frequently presents at state and national conventions, including the 2019 and 2020 National PE Institutes in Asheville, North Carolina, and the 2020 Shape America National Convention in Sat Lake City, Utah.
Supported by professional experience in teaching and physical education, Kyle seeks to provide his students a healthy and enjoyable physical education experience. Kyle attributes much of his success to the work ethic he developed as a student athlete. He played collegiate golf at Illinois State University, where he was team captain his senior year, All-Conference in 2008, and Conference Player of the Week three times. Being an athlete spurred him to hone his focus and develop organization and time management skills. He believes that being detail oriented has helped him greatly in the management of a busy lifestyle. Looking forward, Kyle hopes to continue challenging himself and inspiring children. He envisions himself continuing to strive to share his passion for physical education with his students, his colleagues, and the greater community.
