Prior to his present appointment, Mr. Perkins gained valuable expertise with Service Coordination Unlimited Incorporated as a program director between 2008 and 2013.
Previously, SCU operated as part of the Attendant Care Program at Community Living and Support Services. Through its mergers with Supports Coordination of Northwest PA, in 2018 and Service Coordination Resources in 2019, SCU has become stronger and offers a wider breadth of knowledge and experience to the populations they serve. Although his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Perkins is especially proud of receiving the Home and Community Based Excellence Award from the Pennsylvania Provider Coalition Association for his integrity, dedication and collaborative work style in the social service field.
Renowned as an area in his areas of expertise, Mr. Perkins earned a Master of Social Work from Slippery Rock University in 1997. He retains his professional affiliation with the Pennsylvania Provider Coalition Association, where he formerly served as the president and a board member. Looking toward the future, he aims to experience the continued growth and success of his career within SCU. Likewise, Mr. Perkins will pursue expansion opportunities for the business in order to maintain their relevance in the field of social work.
