TWIN FALLS, IDAHO, March 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Drew D. Daarud has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Drawing a wealth of influence from her mother, Ms. Daarud earned an Associate of Science in biology and natural resources from the College of Southern Idaho in 2015. Following this accomplishment, she attained a Bachelor of Science in biology and ecology education from Boise State University in 2018. Ms. Daarud dreams of becoming a wildlife researcher, though with her background in science and education, as well as experience as a teacher's aide during her high school experience, she will remain open to teaching opportunities as they arise.
While pursuing her higher education, Ms. Daarud excelled as a groundskeeper for Sunny Village Trailer Court from 2010 until 2015. In this capacity, she mowed lawns, provided general maintenance and occasionally cleaned out new and recently renovated trailers. Between 2008 and 2016, he also gained valuable professional expertise as an assistant mechanic for her family's business E&D Repair, where her father, uncle and grandfather have worked as well. Devoted to her community, Ms. Daarud contributes in her spare time as a volunteer with Rockcreek Community Church.
In light of her outstanding accomplishments, Ms. Daarud was recently honored with the Youth Action Council Award. Additionally, she received the Noyce Scholarship from Boise State University in August 2018. Looking toward the future, Ms. Daarud aims to obtain a full-time teaching position or work with a forestry exploration center in the Fish and Game Forestry Department.
