Andrew Ackley Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Law

Drawing upon years of expertise in law, Mr. Ackley serves as an attorney with Stritmatter Kessler Koehler Moore, where his practice focuses on personal injury and wrongful death claims, including those regarding product defects, premises design defects, maritime injury and death, and roadway safety. Since joining the firm, he has assisted in a four month-long trial for Dinh v. Ride the Ducks, which involved nearly 50 victims from all over the world and generated a $123,000,000 verdict. Mr. Ackley is proud to have represented numerous victims of misconduct, as well as their families, with great success. He has fought for numerous verdicts and settlements over $1 million. Additionally, Mr. Ackley serves as a supervisor to third year law students at the University of Washington School of Law, representing the student community on a low cost basis.

Prior to his tenure with Stritmatter Kessler Koehler Moore, Mr. Ackley worked as the managing member of Ackley Law Group, PLLC from 2011 until 2015. Mr. Ackley is committed to continuing education and civil justice, through ongoing support and participation with the Washington State Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the Public Justice Foundation.

Mr. Ackley obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science and geology from the University of Oregon and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in U.S. law from the University of Washington. Devoted to his community, he contributes to those in need as the chairman of the board of directors of a non-profit private school serving neuro-diverse students and a legislative steering committee member for the Washington State Association for Justice. In previous years, Mr. Ackley dedicated his attention and services to the Eastside Legal Assistance Program and the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation.

Mr. Ackley is regularly called upon to speak at seminars and publish articles on legal issues and the practice of law. He has been named to Washington Super Lawyers' Rising Stars list every year since 2013. The 2019 Ride the Ducks trial verdict was one of the Top Verdicts top 20 verdicts in the country, and landed the number two spot on CVN's national Top 10 Most Impressive Plaintiff Verdicts of 2019.
