A successful hospital administrator with more than 15 years of experience in the field to her credit, Ms. Jain currently serves as the executive director of Medical Affairs at Stamford Health, where she previously worked as the director from 2012 until 2016, a senior project manager between 2009 and 2012 and a project manager during the late 2000s. In her present role, she reports to the chief medical officer, liaises with executive leadership team, Board members, physician leadership, and operational directors and operates across functional units to achieve the best possible results for the hospital. With a passion for performance improvement, Ms. Jain received formal performance improvement and change management training from the American Society for Quality and with this plethora of knowledge at her disposal, she and her team presented results of their work at a poster presentation "Improving Emergency Department Throughout" at the New York Presbyterian Healthcare System's Quality Symposium in 2012.
Prior to her appointments at Stamford Health, Ms. Jain gained valuable expertise as an administrator for Northwell Health from 2005 until 2007. In pursuit of her aspirations in healthcare, she had earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Brandeis University. Subsequently, Ms. Jain graduated with a Master of Public Health in healthcare administration and management from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Her strongly held personal belief that healthcare happens between a patient and their doctor, Ms. Jain retains her professional affiliation with the American College of Healthcare Executives, where she served as a research assistant in the department of research and development, early in her career. She's also motivated to give back to the community by serving on the advisory board of Mid Fairfield County Dress for Success. For her professional accomplishments, Ms. Jain accepted the Top Innovator Award from Modern Healthcare in 2019 for her teams work on simplifying the way hospitals and health systems track, manage and audit payments to their physicians using mobile technology.
