Looking toward the future, Dr. Angela Dudley aims to be retired from law enforcement and academia and running her own agency so that she may parlay her extensive knowledge to others.

With many years of practiced industry experience to her credit, Dr. Dudley serves as an adjunct assistant professor with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with which she currently teaches introduction to security. Additionally, she worked as an adjunct online instructor for American InterContinental University, where she taught addiction intervention in the justice system and foundations of crisis management. Over the years, Dr. Dudley has excelled in the field of education, teaching criminological theory for the University of Phoenix, and criminal investigations and crime scenes for the ITT Technical Institute. At the beginning of her career, she gained valuable expertise in the field with the East Cleveland Police Department. During her formative years, Dr. Dudley was inspired to enter the field of law enforcement because she realized how underrepresented women were in the field.
In pursuit of her aspirations, Dr. Dudley obtained a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from David N. Myers University, a Master of Science in criminal justice from Tiffin University and a Doctor of Philosophy in business administration from a criminal justice specialization from Northcentral University. Additionally, she graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with an associate in specialized technology degree in funeral service and arts and sciences. Throughout her career, Dr. Dudley has also accrued certifications in police executive and administrative leadership, basic drug training, supervision of police personnel, financial forfeiture training and a certificate from the Crematory Operations Certification Program. She is also a Contracted Academic Coach with Instructional Connections, LLC to teach Criminal Justice courses at various colleges.
Dr. Dudley retains her professional alignment with various organizations in order to remain aware of changes in the field. Notably, she is a member of the Erie County Fraud Task Force, a Mentor for College Now Greater Cleveland, The National Association of Professional Women, the Academy of Criminal Justice Services, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives.
