Supported by an Associates of Science in Nursing from Cabrillo College, and as an oncology certified nurse through the Oncology Nurses Society, Mrs. Thorn has found success in cancer care at Central Coast Oncology and Hematology for nearly a decade. Due to her work within her area of expertise, she has come to value and celebrate the small joys in life. Possessed of a deep well of integrity and tenacity, Mrs. Thorn proceeded to establish a company whose main goal is to highlight the special moments in life and celebrate the good times with love and laughter.
Mrs. Thorn established Telegrams and Party Jams, a foundation dedicated to charitable advocacy. Through this organization, she is able to provide a space for talented people to make a living while sharing their gifts with the world. She notably collaborates with local artists, singers, actors and musicians to foster and promote the importance of art in the community. In addition, as a nonprofit, Telegrams and Party Jams dedicates a portion of all proceeds toward a scholarship fund, which provides school-aged children with much needed supplies and resources for activities. As the executive director of this organization, Mrs. Thorn attributes her success to support from her family and friends, and her creativity, which allowed her to think of an innovative way to give back to important causes.
Looking toward the future, Mrs. Thorn aspires to expand the staff at her organization. She also wishes to continue to connect with talented people, and expand the notoriety and services of the company.
