During his 30 years of practice as trial and appellate counsel in civil litigation, Mr. Luepke, also known as Bud, garnered a laudable reputation in Saint Louis for his expertise as a leading litigator. In 2019, he was acquired by Pitzer Snodgrass PC, a reputable civil trial and litigation law firm. His career included more than two decades as a litigator with The Stolar Partnership, where he ultimately served on the firm's executive board. He also worked with Dentons US, LLP and tried cases and argued appeals for the State of Missouri and its diverse and multiple public agencies.
Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Luepke has been responsible for the successful outcomes of hundreds of civil lawsuits relating to contracts, fraud, business relations, personal injury, civil rights, and employment. He has represented a myriad of plaintiffs and defendants in arbitrations and mediations, as well as in jury and bench trials. He has presented cases in the circuit ourts around the State of Missouri and in Missouri's federal district courts. He has argued appeals in the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and in the federal Third and Eight Circuit Courts of Appeal. And wherever and with whomever Bud has worked, he has done so always with a humble confidence that has garnered the respect of the courts, his clients, colleagues and opposing counsel. Born and raised in St. Louis, Bud raised his family of three children there. His father was a distinguished attorney in the community, and so Bud likewise came of age with an inclination and affinity for legal service. He went to the University of Notre Dame where he studied philosophy, art and literature and graduated with honors. After a year of voluntary community service in Colorado, he came back to study law at St. Louis University where he worked and wrote for the Law Journal and from which he graduated cum laude. He has been admitted to practice by the Missouri and Illinois Bar Associations, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Defense Attorney Association. He has taught legal studies to students from high school to graduate school, and in recognition of his legal accomplishments, Mr. Luepke is an AV rated attorney via Martindale Hubbell.
