Mr. Davis is renowned as a homebuilding and construction expert with more than 20 years of excellence in his industry. Beginning his career in the construction industry after becoming a parent at the age of 17, he was initially inspired by the need to provide for his young family. By the age of 20, Mr. Davis had advanced into a management position, in which he was working on high-rise structures in Nevada.
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Mr. Davis recalls that business was a "frequent dinner table conversation." After several years of developing his skills in the building industry, he made the logical decision to branch out and go into business for himself. In 1990, Mr. Davis established Born to Build Construction, a full-service building contractor specializing in remodels, commercial and residential new construction and finishing and exterior structures, including deck and dock builds.
In 2017, Born to Build Construction was rebranded as Born to Build, Inc., where Mr. Davis primarily focuses on creating project outlines and negotiating client contracts. He is proud to work alongside his son, Brandon Kearney, and his business partner, Bill Sutherland, to provide clients with a well-managed and high-quality contracting experience from start to finish. A member of the National Association of Home Builders, he attributes his career success to his hard work, the values that his parents instilled within him and the guidance of industry mentors at every step of the journey. Mr. Davis plans to continue expanding his business in the coming years, and hopes to help offer opportunities to others with similar backgrounds to pursue positive change in their own professional and personal lives.
