UNIONDALE, NY, April 29, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Lawrence A. Mandelker, a prominent attorney in the fields of commercial litigation, government relations and election law, has been awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who's Who, publisher of biographical profiles since 1899.
Cited for his "noteworthy accomplishments and leadership," Mandelker is well-known for his work in the political arena where he was a campaign finance and election law advisor in New York State for the presidential campaigns of Jimmy Carter (1976), Gary Hart (1984), Al Gore (1988), Robert Dole (1996), George W. Bush (2000), and Bernie Sanders (2016); and treasurer of NYC Mayor Ed Koch's mayoral and gubernatorial campaigns. He is chair of the Committee on Character and Fitness for the 9th Judicial District; and is a member of the New York City Bar Association's Counsel on Judicial Administration and its Mortgage Foreclosure Task Force. He was formerly a member of the Board of Editors of the New York Law Journal for which he wrote numerous book reviews.
