NEWARK, DE, April 29, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Walter Koroljow has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

As a child, Dr. Koroljow conducted experiments with his father, which piqued his interest in practical physics. He subsequently received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Rutgers and a Ph.D in physics from Temple University.

Recruited by the American Mathematical Society, Dr. Koroljow applied his skills for the next 40 years conceiving, designing, and implementing signal processing systems in acoustics and electronics.

As examples, he was responsible for the Navy's High Gain Array, the only system capable of measuring the noise from Seawolf class submarines. He was responsible for acoustic imaging systems used by NASA Ames, NASA Lewis, and NASA Langley. He received a patent for a novel directional hearing aid design.

Before retiring in 2015, Dr. Koroljow worked as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he designed prototype detection, localization and tracking systems for hostile electronics. His most recent project was designing an interference cancellation system, which was successfully tested by the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command in 2015.
