After earning an associate degree from the Pennsylvania School of the Arts, Ms. Carlson began her career working in marketing with fashion and retail companies. Serving as an art director for seven years, she was found success in the Washington, D.C. area and later New York over the course of 10 years. From 1996 to 2001, Ms. Carlson flourished as a creative director for Avon Products.

While living in New York, Ms. Carlson was present for the 9/11 attacks, and was directly affected by the aftermath of the event. Deciding to take a year off, she relocated to Delaware, where she enrolled in a real estate course. Joining the real estate market during a thriving time, Ms. Carlson has excelled as a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty since 2016.

For her professional accomplishments in her career, Ms. Carlson previously received a double-gold medal. She maintains her professional affiliation with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce. Civically, she volunteers with the Bethany Beach Cottage Tour and Habitat for Humanity. Looking toward the future, Ms. Carlson plans to continue growing in her personal business in order to support more colleagues, such as assistants and other Realtors.
