Robert Bruce Kinstrey Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    SIMPSONVILLE, SC, May 11, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Robert Bruce Kinstrey with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Kinstrey celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. After securing a Bachelor of Science in pulp and paper from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University in 1967, Mr. Kinstrey began his tenure with Nekoosa Papers in Wisconsin as a process engineer. He further progressed to a technical supervisor, the paper mill supervisor and an assistant pulp mill superintendent between 1967 and 1977. During this time, he also earned a Master of Science in industrial management from Clarkson University in 1972. He continued his career with the Union Camp in Savannah, GA, serving the roles of a paper mill superintendent, a project manager and a technical director between 1977 and 1988.

Furthermore, Mr. Kinstrey excelled as a senior staff engineer and a technical manager for the OPTEC Group with Rust International in Birmingham, AL, from 1988 to 1997 before accepting his current title as a director for Pulp and Paper Consultancy with the Jacob Engineering Group, a position he has held since 1997. In addition to his primary career responsibilities, he also served as an international consultant in the field. Civically, he contributed as a member of the Board of Directors to the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry and an assistant scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America in Valley Stream, NY, from 1962 to 1967. A published expert, Mr. Kinstrey provided his knowledge to over 100 technical publications and presentations.

Aside from his professional career, Mr. Kinstrey served in the United States Army with the Chemical Corps from 1967 to 1969. He also worked as a vice commander of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary in Savannah in 1980. Mr. Kinstrey has maintained a relationship with the National Corvette Restorers Society, The Vietnam Veterans of America, The American Legion, The Paper Industry Management Association, and the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, for which he served as chair of the Southeastern Section from 1989 to 1990.

As a testament to his achievements, Mr. Kinstrey has been a recipient of the Graduate of Distinction Award from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, the CPBIS/PIMA Management Excellence Award, and the Herman L. Joachim Distinguished Service Award, among others. Outside of his career, Mr. Kinstrey enjoys golfing, sailing, model railroading, Corvettes, traveling and flying in his spare time. During his travels, he has seen the Great Wall of China, the original home of Confucius, the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.
