A passionate and caring educator, he teaches a variety of advanced, college level courses in calculus, college algebra, general statistics, algebra III and trigonometry to juniors and seniors, where students can earn dual credits for college. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Mr. Moore contributed for more than 35 years on the field coaching high school football. He also coached basketball for two decades and track for 15 years.
Born in Iowa, Mr. Moore decided to become a teacher because he felt called to serve in this capacity. Attending Northwest Missouri State University, he received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 1972 and a Master of Arts in mathematics and education in 1973. He has been a certified teacher in the state of Missouri since 1973. Affiliated with several community organizations and initiatives throughout the length of his career, Mr. Moore was most proud to serve as a board member for the Future Golfers Program.
