Mr. Schultz graduated form St. Mary High School in Paducah, KY. He then received his B.A. in Philosophy and his B.A. in political science at Xavier University in Cincinnati before attending Law School at Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. Mr. Schultz is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.
Over the years, Mr. Schultz has also worked as an appointed commissioner on the Paducah Human Rights Commission, as an aide to Jim Tarbell the Fmr. Vice-Mayor of Cincinnati and as the Program Administrator at the Evanston Façade Program.
Mr. Schultz was the Democratic Representative to the McCracken County Board of Elections from 2014-2016 and is currently a Republican delegate from McCracken County to the Kentucky Republican State Convention. During his spare time, he dedicates his attention to his wife and four sons and to the Knights of Columbus.
