SOUTH RICHMOND HILL, NY, May 13, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Harpreet Sohal has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Sohal is renowned as the entrepreneur and restaurateur behind Superfine Indian Kitchen and Superfine Tiffins. Prior to beginning her career in the food and beverage industry, she earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Indira Gandhi National Open University in Delhi, India. Her interest in cooking began after a series of life-changing events, which began at the age of 17 when her grandfather was diagnosed with cancer and both mother and father with Type 1 diabetes. Subsequently, Ms. Sohal became a cornerstone of her family, as she cooked and provided care for her grandfather and both parents during their illness.

During this time, Ms. Sohal noticed how people responded to her cooking, which featured healthy and holistic ingredients. After facing an illness of her own, she decided that it was time to live out her dream and open a restaurant, Superfine Indian Kitchen, a restaurant, catering, and meal preparation service in Queens, New York. Moreover, her premier service is Superfine Tiffins, a meal prep and delivery service providing customers with rotating weekly menus of convenient, wholesome Indian cuisine brought to their homes. As the owner and the chef of Superfine Indian Kitchen, Ms. Sohal is responsible for supervising all day-to-day operations, as well as sourcing and cooking food and designing menus, many of which feature her personal family recipes.

Ms. Sohal attributes her success to her loyal customers as well as word-of-mouth publicity. She has been notably featured in media outlets including The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian and Edible Queens. In the coming years, Ms. Sohal hopes to continue her business expansion, with the intention to open locations in all five boroughs while shifting her focus to include more community service, including work in homeless shelters.
